Interway Transport Sdn.Bhd has been in the business of logistic company since more than 40 years. They are the one-stop logistics service centre who is able to provide a wide range of quality service such as transporting of goods in container, freight-forwarding services, warehousing facilities, crane facilities, shifting and positioning of machinery and industrial equipment. 

Interway Transport is a subsidiary of the SING CHUAN AIK GROUP OF COMPANIES. The group has an annual turnover in in excess of 70 Million Ringgit in Malaysia. Other than that, SING CHUAN AIK GROUP OF COMPANIES employes more than 450 people throughout Malaysia.

STRATEGIES AND PLANNING OF COMPANY

Our forwarding and warehousing division offers complete package handling to our customers from specialized packing for Custom, formal, air and sea procedures.

Our office is located in the commercial and industrial center of Malaysia. We have offices in Seremban, Port Klang, Kuantan and Pasir Gudang. Our total modern warehouse operated 300,000 sq ft Port Klang, Seremban and Pasir Gudang is located in the vicinity of the harbor and provides easy access to major highways and towns in Peninsular Malaysia. Currently, we run more than 200 equipment, examples; transport trucks, tankers and low bed trailers. We cover all major routes of Peninsular Malaysia. In order to maintain our vehicles and weight lifting machines in optimum working conditions, we have our service workshops for maintenance and repair.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND WAREHOUSING 

Interway provides the integrated warehousing solution for both bonded and non-bonded storage for their customer. They operate extensive warehousing facilities, including storage, nationwide pick up and distribution services throughout Malaysia.  Their warehouse has computerised to monitor the product movement. The facilities are completely equipped and manned to handle break bulk, distribution, warehousing and other value added services. Interway Transport warehouse is conveniently located in Seremban and West Port strategically situated close to the nearest state city.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN INTERWAY TRANSPORT 

Interway company has experience and knowledge in utilizing new technologies as a tool for improving productivity on logistics related services. Some of the new information technologies, which were implemented or exposed are;

They are in the process of doing the E-Commerce fulfilling stage. In the near future, their company will be able to monitor and perform scheduling of trucks with a web enable truck scheduling software. This will open up the possibility for all their branch offices to link up with this scheduling web enable software, and it will allow the management personnel to have better information handling for invoicing to our customers. In the later stage, they also enable the customers to monitor the consignment through the web. If necessary, Interway will also implement the system in such way that enable the consignee or consignor to send and receive Electronic Transport Order and payment through this web as part of our E-Commerce & design planning.
